Within your hostimed.com cPanel, you have the ability to password protect a folder within your website. You can create as many logins as needed for a protected folder.
Click on Password Protect Directories in Site Management. To password protect a directory click on the directory's name.
This takes you to a configuration panel where you must follow these simple steps:
- Log into cPanel with your login credentials
- Go to the File Manager.
- Select the directories you want to password protect and right click on the folder and choose the option Password Protect.
- Simply Follow 5 click step
- Check out the “Password Protect This Directory”
- Enter Name for The Protected Directory
- Click on Generate Password to generate strong password.
- After that, simply check out the option “I have copied this password in safe place”.
- Click on use password.
- Fill-up username, password and re-enter password and hit to save.
